Music: Poison & Wine by The Civil Wars

MUSIC is a segment that features a song that’s caught my brain. Shoutout to Jordan Hoggard. The Civil Wars completely fell off my radar, thankful to rediscover them.

Lyrics, “Poison & Wine” by The Civil Wars

You only know what I want you to
I know everything you don’t want me to
Oh your mouth is poison, your mouth is wine
You think your dreams are the same as mine
Oh I don’t love you but I always will
Oh I don’t love you but I always will
Oh I don’t love you but I always will
I always will
I wish you’d hold me when I turn my back
The less I give the more I get back
Oh your hands can heal, your hands can bruise
I don’t have a choice but I’d still choose you
Oh I don’t love you but I always will
Oh I don’t love you but I always will
Oh I don’t love you but I always will
Oh I don’t love you but I always will
Oh I don’t love you but I always will
Oh I don’t love you but I always will
Oh I don’t love you but I always will
I always will
I always will
I always will
I always will
I always will

  1. It hard to do, because they sound so full, and feel so much like immersion in reverse that they gift out… though, every once in a while,, as they also move so well together, I mute the music (like I said, kinda difficult), though do a watching meditation as they just kelp together, kelping softly together in the same ocean currents in their own movement ways.
