Poetryerotic poetry, poem, towel

towel (an erotic poem)

after soaking in a long bath
together
you rub me down
and i’ll be damned, you see
I just bought these towels
and they’re clearly defunct because
the more you dry me
the wetter I get

Happy Thursday,

What a lovely poem, it captures that erotic moment and the intimate scene beautifully.

Very nice! (Maybe ‘deficient’ rather than ‘defunct’?)

Thanks! I considered that but, nah. Defunct has more punch.
