If you haven’t seen the pressure we’re under as a nation, you haven’t been paying attention.
Regardless of your particular side of the fence…vote.
Early Voting (Texas) October 13th-30th.
Election Day, November 3rd.

“Turned away from it all like a blind man
Sat on a fence but it don’t work
Keep coming up with love but it’s so slashed and torn…
Because love’s such an old-fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the (People on streets) edge of the night
And love (People on streets) dares you to change our way of
Caring about ourselves…
This is ourselves under pressure”
Under Pressure by David Bowie & Queen
Love the song, but… who do you vote for if all your options are bad? I can absolutely understand why people don’t vote.

The less shitty choice. One choice, even by a fraction of a hair, should be not as bad or (at least) not as catastrophic.

I think you’re right. I think also, people vote in order to either change things or prevent change. Where they don’t feel they can do either, there is apathy.

Of course. Creating space for apathy is all too easy. Many politicians bank on apathy as an edge in a tight election. So, if anything, vote as way of saying f*ck you…you know…if nothing else.

I’ve been dreading this. I hate the concept of electing the devil I know or the devil I don’t for the next 4 years.
P.S. I dig the Bowie shirt.
